I’ve been a full time professional photographer in Ibiza and travelled abroad for commissions for the last 15 years.
In this trajectory I’ve photographed all sorts of projects, landing comfortably in editorial photography and photographing regularly for international publications such as The New York Times and local magazines like White Ibiza.
Aside from photography services and commissions, my personal project is creating Ibiza photographs that inspire many people’s homes. I also own and curate Olas Gallery, a local art gallery in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza.
I have an eye for special stories, nature, spaces, ambiance and locations.
I enjoy photographing architecture and design projects.
I also like working with people, I’ve taken portraits for subjects of all backgrounds and thrive in artistic, creative, business and wellness areas.
The core of my work is connecting with my clients and creating long term relationships that translate into great images.
Sofia Gomez Fonzo is a professional photographer working full time in Ibiza since 2011. Photographed nature and Ibiza lifestyle, beautiful properties and hotels, weddings and events, Ibiza people and celebrities. Through these years, she has been photographing for several editorials such as White Ibiza and The New York Times.
Authenticity and real life is the center of her work, not only looking for aesthetics, but also telling a story with soul and feeling, having a non-judgmental approach, finding beauty and curiosity in everything.
Loves to photograph the everyday island life, nature, real emotions, passionate people and the Ibiza vibes.
To her, photographs make part of our memory and likes to capture life as it is, without intervening or forcing things.
In 2024 she held three exhibitions with her Ibiza photographs project and that lead her to opening her own art gallery dedicated to Ibiza and the local artists in Santa Eulalia.
She sells her work online and physically via Olas Gallery alongside all the artists’ work that she curates for the gallery.
